Jamie xx at Pier 48: Artist Bio and Event Details

Jamie xx is the solo project of British producer and DJ Jamie Smith, also known as a member of the acclaimed electronic group The xx. His atmospheric, rhythm-driven sound draws on house, UK garage, dance music, and the intimate songwriting associated with the band. As a solo artist, he is known for releases including the album In Colour and tracks such as “Gosh,” “Loud Places,” and “I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times).”

Jamie xx is scheduled to perform at Pier 48 on December 31, 2026. The supplied event details list one date at this San Francisco venue; a tour name, opening acts, and set details have not been provided. His layered productions and DJ-focused approach make this a fitting New Year's Eve concert for fans of electronic music.

Located along San Francisco's waterfront, Pier 48 offers a distinctive setting for a large-scale live event, with the city's Embarcadero and South Beach neighborhoods nearby. Event-specific details, including doors, age restrictions, and stage arrangements, should be checked against the latest ticket information before attending.

Ticket prices currently start around $120–$500+ for a major concert, with final costs depending on availability, ticket type, and fees.

Venue and Seating Information

Pier 48 is a waterfront event space rather than a traditional theater, so the layout may differ from a fixed-seat venue. The event's seating or standing configuration has not been provided. Review the ticket description carefully to confirm whether a purchase offers a reserved seat, general admission access, or another arrangement.

For a standing setup, arriving early can help attendees choose a preferred viewing position; for reserved areas, compare the listed sections and access details before buying. Specific “best” or “worst” sections cannot be confirmed without the event's seating map and stage plan.

Parking Information

Parking availability and event rates can change, especially on New Year's Eve. Consider checking current options near Pier 48 and allowing extra time for traffic and entry procedures.

• Review official venue or event guidance for parking lots designated for attendees.
• Compare nearby public garages and lots for current rates, hours, and walking distance before departure.
• Consider public transit or a rideshare drop-off if convenient, and arrange a pickup point away from event traffic.

No specific parking facility, address, or price has been verified for this event. Avoid relying on unconfirmed lots or assuming that street parking will be available; check posted restrictions and live event updates.
